Yes. GTA 6 is officially confirmed for Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar announced this directly on its newswire, after pushing the game back from an original informal 2025 target to May 26, 2026, and then to its current date.

Take-Two reaffirmed November 19 at its FY2026 earnings call. It also tied roughly $8 to $8.2 billion in projected next-year revenue to this launch. That's about the clearest signal a publisher can give that a date is final. Two delays in a row understandably makes fans nervous, but Rockstar has a long history of doing exactly this. Both GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 slipped past their first announced windows too, and both shipped as some of the best-reviewed games of their generation.

GTA 6 Trailers So Far

Two GTA 6 trailers exist right now.

Trailer 1 dropped December 5, 2023, after leaking a few hours early. It was purely cinematic, no gameplay, just tone: Vice City at golden hour, Jason and Lucia introduced as a couple caught up in something bigger than either of them. It became one of the fastest-viewed trailers in YouTube history.

Trailer 2 followed on May 6, 2025.
